Fall 2020, Winter 2021, Spring 2021

A year-long thesis project located in South Chicago, Park 566 explores the idea of reinventing an impoverished city and healing past wounds. The proposal includes a wildlife refuge, a filtration plant, a park, a marine hospital, and a masterplan of the city. 

Emporia

Spring 2020

A collaboration with two other architecture students to re-imagine an existing garbage and waste  incinerator and vacant land into a community hub, theatre, market, and park to heal the land in Florence, Italy.

Fall 2019

A project involving the scanning, documentation, and proposal of a student hotel located on Forte de Belvedere in Italy. The project had to respect the existing fort, while still creating its own natural, unique identity.

Spring 2019

A long project with two parts; design a comprehensive master plan of Paradise, CA, a town destroyed by fire. Then individually design proposed buildings that fill a hole in the community. Finally, the individual

designs were incorporated into the master plan for a fully-designed town.

Fall 2018

An 11-week long intense project, the health, wellness, recreation, and physical therapy centerworks to complete the urban fabric of San Luis Obispo. This large, 110,000+ sq.ft., 4-story building helps to heal the community, the environment, and the self simutaneously.

Spring 2018

A multi-iteration elementary school located in downtown LA. The project culminated in a design that was secure, enclosing, nature-centric, and a community hub. The site has a slope, safety, and the language of the 2 buildings were all prevalent problems I designed for.

Winter 2018

A 6-week long project designing a residential community of 6 houses and a community center near Arroyo Grande, CA. We met with a client and surveyed the site, then made models, drawings, and renderings for review.

Fall 2017

A small, 6-week long project designing a 4,000 sq. ft children’s library in Templeton, CA. Design included sketches, models, renderings, plans, sections, and concept diagrams

Spring 2017

A month-long group project designing, building, a hiking a  bamboo structure out to a nearby canyon to place on a hill and sleep in for two nights as part of a competition.

Winter 2017

3-week group project designing, building, and installing a sculpture to attach to the architecture building and hang above a bridge for 2 weeks.
